Test Drive at Muskoka Woods Summer Camp
A three-night experience designed for first-time guests only
Test Drive is a shorter stay at Muskoka Woods built for WILD and Venture-age guests who want to ease into overnight summer camp. It gives kids a real feel for camp life without the commitment of a full week. Same place. Same staff. Same programs. Just a shorter stay that feels more manageable the first time away.
This is a three-night experience designed for first-time guests only. If your child has never stayed overnight at Muskoka Woods before, Test Drive is a great starting point.
What Test Drive Looks Like
Test Drive follows the same daily rhythm as our regular overnight summer camp. Days are full. Nights are calm. Kids build confidence quickly when they realize they can do this.
Guests take part in the activities that define summer camp at Muskoka Woods. They live in cabins, eat together, try new things, and form friendships fast. Staff focus on helping kids feel safe, known, and supported from the moment they arrive.

Who Is Test Drive For?
Test Drive is for new 6-10 year-old guests who are curious about a Muskoka Woods overnight camp experience but are not quite ready for a full week. It works well for kids who feel excited and nervous at the same time. That balance is normal. A shorter stay helps turn that nervous energy into confidence.
This experience is thoughtfully designed for new guests joining us in WILD (6–8) and Venture (9–10). It does not extend to older age groups.
Why Families Choose Test Drive
A shorter stay gives kids space to grow without feeling overwhelmed. By the end of three nights, many are surprised by what they can handle on their own. Children are given the option to stay for the full week, and some grow so much in just a few days that they often choose to! Parents get peace of mind knowing their child experienced a true overnight summer camp in a supportive setting.
For guests considering overnight summer camps in the future, Test Drive offers a clear picture of what makes Muskoka Woods feel different.
