At Muskoka Woods, our passion is to provide young people with the personal skills and leadership abilities they need to become the CEO of their own lives. Being part of the CEO Leadership Program will definitely teach you a lot, but this four-week program on Lake Rosseau is so much more than that - it will change your life.
CEOs learn about a wide variety of topics covered by the best leadership and personal development material available. We focus on coupling what the CEOs are learning in their session with practical experience. Participants will lead programs, instruct guests at their activities and take part in experiential team building initiatives.
Our CEO applicants are highly specialized and have aspirations to grow their leadership capacity in areas they already thrive. We offer four streams, in addition to our traditional CEO program. Every CEO participant journeys through the same core curriculum and obtains a Grade 11 leadership credit upon graduation. Afternoon activities and key assignments will be tailored to each artistic and athletic stream, and differentiate these options from the original program. Industry professionals contribute their expertise to each stream through workshops and hands-on instruction.
Each day, CEOs meet in the Leadership Studio, a building designed specifically to inspire and train young leaders. Part artist’s loft, part monastic retreat and part family cottage, this 4,000 square-foot, purpose-built space sits on the glistening shores of Lake Rosseau. Combining one-of-a-kind, hands-on learning with unparalleled outdoor amenities, the Leadership Studio offers a unique personal development experience for our CEOs.

An Algonquin canoe trip, Eagles' Flight leadership training, practical experience and a whole lot of fun are just a few of the things you can expect to experience in the CEO Leadership Program.
Muskoka Woods believes that the CEO Leadership Program is only one aspect of the leadership journey. We are committed to providing an opportunity to continue learning after the summer ends. This includes evening activities throughout the year, ongoing connection with staff, a weekend retreat at Muskoka Woods and a service trip to New Orleans over March Break.

Acceptance into this program is by application and interview. Please register for our regular summer camp to ensure your summer vacation. If acceptance into the CEO program is granted, all payments already deposited will be transferred to your CEO account.

Applicants will receive a notification via email of the interview process. If an interview is granted, the email will outline the interview day and time. You are required to be present on either one of the following two interview dates: Saturday, February 25, 2017 and Sunday, February 26, 2017. For out-of-Ontario applicants, a Skype interview will be coordinated.
All applicants will receive written notification of acceptance by Friday, March 24, 2017.
All accepted applicants must confirm their offer of acceptance into the CEO Leadership Program by Friday, April 7, 2017. The initial payment deposit is due this day as well. The remaining balance is due Monday, May 1, 2017

I started off this four-week journey with complete strangers, who quickly became people I laughed, cried and shared some of my best memories with. Over the course of the month, I learned that each of us were made uniquely, and given completely different skills, but that’s what makes us all so special. Through CEO, I was able to realize my potential, and learned how to utilize the gifts I was given.
