Our Health Care Centre is staffed with a team of full-time nurses and a doctor. We ask to be informed of each guest’s special health requirements before arrival. Prescriptions and medications, health and allergy concerns, and even homesickness, are given a top priority. We provide parents with a full checklist to leave with us, so they’ll know their child is being cared for just as they would at home.

At Muskoka Woods, our goal is for guests to feel at home, safe and comfortable in their cabin life and throughout their entire summer camp experience. All guests stay in age-based cabin groups. Counsellors in each cabin enjoy, and are trained in, bonding and engaging with young people in the age group under their care.

fantastic food

Forget the stereotypes—you've never seen camp food like this! Meals are served buffet-style three times a day, with additional snack times. For every meal, our expert chefs create a variety of tasty options to suit the most finicky eaters, including daily vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan options. There's also a fully stocked salad bar. Let us know if your child has special dietary needs, and we'll be happy to accommodate them.

CABIN CHAT AND CONVERSATION CAFÉ are a special part of each night at Muskoka Woods, with WILD and Venture guests participating in Cabin Chat and Junior High and Senior High guests in Conversation Cafe. During this time, guests share on topics including Christian values, character building and personal beliefs. These sessions create a safe space for listening, laughing and learning about values and morals through Bible stories. We encourage young people to think in new ways. Whatever the occasion, our conversations are age appropriate and respectful of all religions and beliefs.

IMPACT AND SPARK are weekly events where guests gather for an entertaining multimedia show. It’s a bonding experience for every age group, with Spark reserved for WILD and Venture guests and Impact for Junior High and Senior High. Part concert, theatre and motivational speaker, Impact and Spark flow out of Conversation Cafe and Cabin Chat to create truly inspiring nights.

Each section has its own signature evening program that makes the week unforgettable. WILD loves Messy Games. Venture raves about the Carnival. Junior High is known for Animal Races. Senior High is all about the Kamati Cup. Other evenings are filled with campfires, wacky camp-wide games and tons of opportunities to make new friends.
